Yes. The owner of the internet connection could report you to their ISP who would report you to the school officials and cause you to loose your home laptop. Most public libraries offer free wireless service for their cardholders. Check with your local public library about this. If they offer it, get a library card if you don’t already have one and take your laptop there to use it for free. Starbucks and other internet cafes offer free wireless service as long as you at least purchase a cup of coffee or something. Other than that, talk to your parents about how important it is to you to have wireless service at home. Perhaps they will check with their ISP about getting wireless service added to their existing service. You could even offer to do extra chores around the house to pay for it.

Yes, they can find out.. But if you know someone who has wireless, you can ask them if you can borrow their internet connection for your school work. I’m sure that they won’t have a problem with it.. If you’re nice enough, you could give em’ 10 bucks a month for using it.

it would be stealing if u used some ones wireless internet unless u go to a cafe.
