If I use ointments or dmso on my animal, should I put them on before or after using the Equine Light Therapy pad?
Always apply ointments, liniments, oils or dmso AFTER using the pad. Make sure the area is clean and dry before applying the Equine Light Therapy pad. If you use any topical that generates heat, use caution with the Equine Light Therapy pad. We have had no adverse side effects reported, but skin sensitivities vary and there is no way to predict how your animal will react.
