If I use my PAC code will it automatically cancel my current mobile phone contract?
The moment you request your PAC code they’ll know you’re leaving so it’s swings and roundabouts….if you don’t want the sales pitch tell them at the beginning of the call. As the previous answer said you can’t request your pac code until you’re in the last 30 days of your existing contract and generally they don’t release it until the 30 days are up as using it does end your contract…you will receive a final bill from Orange for the line rental etc used in the last 30 days.
If you have time remaining on your contract, your network won’t give you a PAC code. The only exception to this is if you have 30 days or less to go to complete your contract obligation. If they do give you your PAC code, it’s essential that you use it within 30 of receiving it, or else it will expire and become useless.
