If I use a burst beam on a fighter flight and then hit it with some other weapon, such as a pulse cannon, are the dropped-out fighters eligible to be hit?
• The firing player uses his weapons in any order he chooses. If a fighter is force-dropped by a burst beam fired early in the turn, later weapons cannot hit it. In the case of a pulse cannon, he does not have to announce the targets of the pulse cannon until it actually shoots, so he can see the results of his burst beams before picking his targets from the remaining fighters (in fact, a force-dropped fighter cannot be targeted, even if you wanted to).
