If I tick the No box to seeking redeployment opportunities in the at risk letter do I automatically lose my right to redundancy entitlement and am I likely to be offered redeployment anyway?

If an employee ticks ‘no’ to help in seeking redeployment then HR will not set up a meeting with them to discuss redeployment. However, if a suitable alternative position comes up and they are a match for the job, they will be treated like any other redeployee and offered a provisional placement. If they refuse the provisional placement (and thus the opportunity for redeployment to a suitable alternative post), without good reason then they will lose the right to a redundancy payment. The main difference, therefore, is in the effort that HR will put into supporting them in seeking redeployment.
