Server requirements: INVE$TFOLIO requires a web compatible server application with a “Java Servlet 2.4.” The majority of recent Java web servers are compatible, including : • Apache Tomcat (5.0 and up) • IBM Websphere (5.0 and up) • BEA WebLogic (9.0 and up) • Oracle Application Server (10.0 and up) If your organization already uses a Java Web server, INVE$TFOLIO can be downloaded directly onto your server. If you choose to install an independent web server for INVE$TFOLIO, we recommend Apache Tomcat. Database requirements: INVE$TFOLIO is based on Java’s JDBC technology, and can be run on a variety of databases. The majority of industry databases that support JDBC technologies include: • Oracle • SQL Server, including MySQL • DB2 If your organization already has a database, INVE$TFOLIO can usually connect easily to your existing database.
