If i register to vote does that mean i will get called for jury duty?
My husband does not vote and he gets called more often than I do. I also believe its based on Drivers license records and id card records. I have been called 2 times and got out of it for medical reasons. I got a note from the doctors. I think its no big deal to do jury duty. I just can’t because of medical reasons. Your employer is required by law to pay you the difference in pay if you have to do jury duty.
