If I register as a reseller there are some fields to specify a so called “Additional Whois Signature”. What does this mean and are they required?
The fields are not required. If you specify this fields they will be diplayed on our whois server in the web if someone ask it and if the email address of the billing-contact-handle is the same as your reseller-robot-address. The lines will be displayed as “Sponsoring Reseller”. Question: I have a domain registered and my reseller “Additional Whois Signature” is shown correctly. Could I be sure, that this domain is assigned to my reseller account ? Answer: YES, since this will only be shown if the domain is assigned to your reseller account.
