If I receive a “BCBS Error” in HNSConnect, what is wrong with my claim and how do I correct it?
If you receive a “BCBS Error” for a claim in HNSConnect, that means BCBSNC found a discrepancy in either the patient’s ID Number, Patient Name and/or the Patient Date of Birth. Verify ALL patient information and make the appropriate corrections in order to resubmit the claim. Please remember to make the necessary changes in your practice management software so future claims will not error out for the same reason on HNSConnect.
