No, this option is only offered on AA.com during the check-in process. You may, however, request to be added to the standby list at the airport via the Self-Service machine or with an agent. Please note that regardless of when or where you check-in for your flight, the date and time from your original upgrade request will be used in conjunction with your elite status level to determine your priority on the standby list.
