If I participate in two Global Seminars back-to-back in summer session one and two for a total of 16 quarter units (credits), then do I need permission to register more than 12 units?

Yes, students who are attempting to take more than 12 units in any given session must get permission from their college prior to enrolling in the additional units. Once approved, the college will make a change to the student account that will allow you to enroll in the extra units.
