The Dual Plasma burner does not generally need to be decoked. However, a power failure or gas flow interruption can lead to a disruption in the burner flames and they may not immediately reignite. In a few cases, it may be helpful to turn down the hydrogen flow rate to a very low value, say 1-2 SCCM for a period of 20-30 seconds, and then raise it back to its standard flow rate. This should clean the tubes and reestablish the flames (plasmas) in the burner.
