If I mount the halide bulbs perpendicular to the tank, because of my hood configuration (front 1/3 flips up) I would have to have all 4 power compact actinics in the front. Would this be a problem?
I currently have 2 in front of the halides and 2 in back of the halides. I am worried that if all the actinics are the front, my SPS, which are primarily at the back, will loose even more color than they have. To my next question, what factors affect the coloration of SPS corals?
