If I list my property on the MLS through Reozom will I be obligated to sign an exclusive right to sell listing agreement?
Yes, but it will not effect your ability to sell your property on your own. The issue of what type of listing agreement is irrelevant when it pertains to cost to you the home seller, for the simple fact it costs you nothing to list your property on the MLS through us in the first place. However there is a reason that we require all are MLS listings to be exclusive right to sell listings. The reason being its impossible to list any other type of listing on the publicly viewed MLS (moveinmichigan.com) besides an exclusive right to sell listing. This rule doesnt apply to all multi listing services in the nation, but this is currently the rule of the MLS that we use. So without placing the listings on the MLS as such, they wont appear on Moveinmichigan.com or Realtor.com. Signing an Exclusive Right to Sell contract with us will not in any way stop you from selling your property on your own. Matter of fact we hope this is the case due to the fact it will save you the seller twice as much by
