If you hear a “Vrump” and notice the gauge preasure shoot up and back down again then the pump is kicking back in to re-pressurize the high pressure hose – somewhere you have a leak, possibly one of the O rings that seal the connections of the hose, maybe through the trigger gun, back down the detergent pick up pipe or possibly from the unloader stem. Try to establish where the leak is and replace the appropriate seal.
