If I integrate my Panasonic IP camera into my web site, how many users can view the camera simultaneously, and who will be able to control the features?
Each Panasonic IP camera is its own web server. Internal design and memory limitations do place limits on the number of simultaneous connections each camera can support. The KX-HCM8 and KX-HCM10 can support 10 simultaneous connections. The KX-HCM 230, 250, 270 and 280’s can support up to 30 simultaneous connections. Assigning a log on name and password can control access to the camera and its configuration menus. The users logon you assign determines the level of access the user has. Specifying simple camera access to full “sysop” privileges is both possible and very easy.
