If I install SmoothWall Software on a back-up system what do I have to pay?
If the back-up system is live and powered-up then the customer has to pay the standard list price for the software installed. If the back-up system is not powered-up and is not connected to the network/systems then there is no charge. We see this latter situation as little different to reinstalling SmoothWall on a second PC after the first one suffered a hardware failure.
