If I have waived medical/pharmacy coverage under the OPERS health care program, will I receive a monthly health care allowance?
No. You and any eligible family members must be enrolled in medical/pharmacy coverage in order to receive an allowance. If you have waived coverage completely, you will not receive an allowance. If you have elected to enroll in vision and/or dental coverage only, you will not receive an allowance.
