If I have recently purchased a new vehicle with a temporary drive-out tag, can I wait till the permanent tag arrives to register my vehicle?
No. When registering a vehicle with a temporary tag, use the 6 digit expiration date as your license plate number. The responsibility falls on the student to inform Security & Safety immediately of any changes. When the permanent tags are received, call, come by, or e-mail the Security and Safety office and the change in tag number will be made for you.
