If I have had a break in service is my redundancy payment calculated on the total years and months worked, or is it just the current period of work after the break?

Redundancy payments are calculated on the current period of work. Service accrued before a break in service will not count towards the calculation. However, previous service with another local authority will count, provided there was no break in service (normally one calendar week).
