Yes. If the program you completed has at least 500 classroom hours and if you have earned a diploma or certificate, you can: • enroll in a 1000 clock-hour massage therapy program registered by New York State; • apply for licensure in massage therapy and make up course deficiencies in an acceptable program; or, • meet the specific 800 clock-hour education requirement and an experience and examination requirement if you have been licensed by another state, country, or territory for five or more years and are able to apply for licensure by endorsement. • Enrolling in a massage therapy program registered by New York State. Those who complete acceptable massage therapy programs in other states, countries, or territories may apply to a New York State registered program to be admitted as an advanced student.
