If I have already claimed an OU qualification can I also count these modules towards a BEng(Hons)?

You can count modules towards any number of qualifications, but you have to complete a proportion of ‘new study’ for each additional qualification. For the BEng (Hons), that amounts to 120 credits from modules that you have not already counted towards a previous qualification. If you have already claimed an OU qualification then your BEng (Hons) study comes under the regulations for studying a second degree and the 120 credits must all be at Level 3 to allow for classification of the degree. Credit from modules that are no longer in presentation can be counted towards the BEng (Hons) for up to 10 years from the last presentation of the module, but no longer.
