If I have a contract with BCTC, will BC Hydro require a review of the quality control process at my plant/operations? Will quality management requirements change after July 5?
We do not foresee any changes being required to quality assurance or quality management clauses in the existing BCTC contracts after the contracts are assigned to BC Hydro on July 5, 2010. That said, BC Hydro always reviews the quality of products delivered to our site. Should BC Hydro have concerns about the quality of your delivered materials, we will deal with those occurrences on an individual basis, as required. This may include an audit of your plant operations or product inspection at the factory if it is deemed necessary.
