If I go offline and leave the BottomLine running, and then go back online, will it pick up where it left off and get new score updates?

Under some system setups, it will indeed pick up right where it left off. Give it a couple of minutes to get the next score update and it should be good to go. On other systems, however, you might need to close the BottomLine and then re-open it.
