If I fax my documentation and completed Cover Sheet for Dependent Verification to Secova, how can I be sure the information I send is kept confidential?
Only Secova employees assigned to work on the State Health Plans Dependent Verification project team will have access to the secure repository that stores your faxed documents. This is not the same as the regular fax service you may use at work or at home. We recognize the importance of keeping your information private and have put the necessary security in place to be HIPAA compliant and to prevent your information from public exposure. After sending your fax, please verify all pages were sent successfully to the correct phone number; do so by checking the transmittal report. Keep a copy of this transmittal report to verify you have sent all intended pages to the correct fax number.
