No. Hallelujah! Forgive the enthusiasm . . . one of the weaknesses of the 2003 OS/PDA designs was that you would lose data and programs if the battery was not very regularly recharged. The Windows Mobile 2005 and the Axim X51v work in a new way to protect your programs and data even if the battery goes flat!
