After you disable the e-mail scanner, be sure to enable Auto-Protect, then run LiveUpdate™ regularly to ensure Auto-Protect has been configured properly. Auto-Protect provides real-time virus protection from any source, including the Internet, and will automatically scan e-mail attachments whenever you access them.
