If I connect my accounts will Kongregate users be able to see my real name, and other Facebook info?
Nope! Kongregate users won’t be able to see your real name or any of your other Facebook information, even if you’ve connected your accounts, and even if you’re friends with them on Kongregate. The only way someone will be able to see your Facebook information is if you’re friends with them on Facebook already! There’s one exception to this – if you create a brand new Kongregate account using Facebook connect, your initial Kongregate username will be based on your first name and last initial on Facebook. It’s easy to change this default username in your account settings. But I don’t want to share my Facebook information with Kongregate! That’s perfectly okay! The worlds of Facebook and Kongregate are not meant to collide for everyone, which is why this feature is completely optional. If you’re concerned about Facebook and Kongregate sharing your personal information, then it’s likely this feature is not for you. If you’ve already linked your accounts, it’s not too late!
