If I cancel my lease to buy a new Bozzuto home, will my current apartment community waive the cancellation fee?
You will be eligible to use your SmartRent funds after 12 consecutive months of living at a participating community. Once you have a valid contract on a new Bozzuto home, you need to notify the property where you live. At that time, Bozzuto Homes will coordinate with the leasing manager to adjust the lease term to prevent a cancellation fee. Your lease term will continue until the pre-drywall inspection on your new home, when your lease will convert to a month-to-month basis at your existing lease rate.
