If I buy New York CityPASS online today, when does the 9-day valid period begin?
If you purchase today, you may begin using your booklet any day from now until February 29, 2012. Purchase e-tickets within 90 days of first day of use. New York CityPASS tickets are valid for one-time use within nine consecutive calendar days. The first attraction you visit stamps or scans your booklet to activate the booklet’s nine-day validity period. For example, if you visit the Empire State Building on Monday, you have the rest of that day, plus the following eight days to use your other five tickets in your booklet. CityPASS Winter Special scratches “valid 9 days” to extend the period a New York booklet can be used. Start using your booklet on or after December 15, 2010 and you’ll have until February 28, 2011 to enjoy each ticket in your booklet once. For travel starting February 20, 2011 or later, the normal 9-day validity period will apply.
