If I buy an Authentication code from company X will it work on platform Y with client Z?

If you bought Defcon through Introversion then you can use your code on both Windows and Linux game clients. However, your code will not work with the Ambrosia Mac client. Attempting to do so will result in a “Wrong Platform” error.
