If I buy a wireless router for my home (for use with laptops) will this interfere with my WaveDirect connection?
In some cases your new wireless router can interfere with the WaveDirect “Radio” mounted on your roof. Generally it will only affect customers who’ve been setup with WaveDirect’s 2.4GHz radio equipment. Most store bought internet routers operate at 2.4GHz. One way of testing is to just turn it on, and see if your internet connection becomes slow or does not work. If you have problems, try logging into your router and changing the wireless channel to channel 1 or 11. If this does not improve the signal, you may consult WaveDirect about the problem.
