If I am upgrading my 8800 logger to an 8816 or 8832, can I change the setting from 8800 to 8816 or 8832 on the Setup site information screen?

No. The site will have to be deleted and re-entered. Before the site can be deleted, the EPA codes will need to be deleted first. Second, delete the calibration setup. Third, delete all of the parameters, and then, finally, you can delete the site. You can now re-enter the site information with the new setting for the 8816 or 8832, then re-enter the parameters, calibration settings, and the EPA codes. The 8832 logger type option is only offered in version 5.40 & above.
