No. Any time a provider/supplier is issued a new CMS Certification Number (CCN) for whatever reason, the EDI billing does not automatically transfer to the newly issued CCN. The provider/supplier must complete the EDI forms required to become an electronic biller with the newly issued CCN. Failure to complete the EDI enrollment forms for the new CCN will result in the rejection of electronic files. The forms to enroll the newly issued CCN for electronic billing are located online.
