If I am already an MFHD major can I count the current MFHD classes that are changing numbers and/or switching to the HFL program as part of the Elective Requirement?
YES, the students must follow the course requirements and class options of the year they declared their major. The classes that count towards MFHD the year the major was declared, will remain an option regardless of class name or number change. Students who switch to the new program which starts Fall 2004, will not have this option. Any classes that are added to the new program will not count for the old programs unless approved on an individual basis by the Department Chair or his/her curriculum representative.
