If I am a U.S. Soccer SC member, do I automatically get the opportunity to purchase 2010 FIFA World Cup tickets?
Not necessarily. USSF will conduct a random lottery to determine which U.S. Soccer SC members receive the opportunity to purchase 2010 FIFA World Cup tickets, in the event that there are more tickets requested by U.S. Soccer SC members than tickets available. U.S. Soccer SC members who are selected to purchase tickets will be held to FIFA’s ticketing sales regulations, which includes limits on the number of tickets each purchaser can obtain. The U.S. Soccer SC members who do not receive an opportunity to purchase 2010 FIFA World Cup tickets will automatically receive first priority status and be placed in the lottery for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, as long as they maintain a current U.S. Soccer SC membership over the next four (4) years. U.S. Soccer SC members who do receive the opportunity to purchase 2010 FIFA World Cup tickets will receive second priority for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
