If I already have TIGER/Line do I need to order the Geocoding Data product for the geocoder to work?
Yes. The geocoding engine within Manifold requires a specialized data set that is hard-wired to support internal Manifold geocoding organization and functioning. Although the Geocoding Data product is derived from TIGER 2000 data it a highly processed, precompiled data set that is specifically set up to support the internal functioning of the Manifold 5.50 geocoder. Other data sets cannot be used.
