If humans get extinct now, which animal species will replace us as the most dominant on planet?
Fir of define what is considered dominant. For in reality we are the most powerful builder of all of the species on this planet but for chemical producers it is divided between algae and trees. There is always a balance and nature will restore it. If we are not there then the plants will run the show because they hold the grip on the air/food supply. For Animals it is up to what the plants and sun allow. If it’s warm then reptiles if cold then mamals that we don’t know of yet. now define what is better. You left that too vague to answer.
