No. She can’t be the Speaker of the House because she is in the Senate. Based upon the news reports coming out of the Senate, there are others that be votes to be the President pro tem of the Senate. It is possible that the Senate will create an honorary position for her as Vice President pro tem of the Senate, making her the #2 majority leader. However, many say that is unlikely. My personal best guess is that Obama will name her to his Cabinet, probably as Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare. There are a bunch of people that want to see her as Secy of State — that just isn’t going to happen.
