If Horace Mann is maintained as the choice school and Eugene Field is closed, what will become the “neighborhood school” for the current Eugene Field boundaries?
Most of the options presented to the Board from the initial study focused on boundary schools only. In many of those options, the boundary school would be Horace Mann. Based on the Board request to include a choice school in each option, the Committee is working on such scenarios at this time. The existing schools that have adjacent boundaries to Eugene Field are Denkmann, Audubon, and Frances Willard. The new options will be presented at the July 17th meeting. Back to Top ———————– 35.
