If Hitler had won WWII, would we be living in a better world?
Actually, the Nazi government under Hitler was NOT a progressive regime. Everyone seems to believe the social programs initiated by Hitler (Volkswagen cars, Sterngth through Joy vacations, etc), but in reality these were all just complicated schemes to skim more money out of the overworked and underpaid working class to help pay for rearmament and for Nazi corruption. The actual progressive leaders for the original Nazi movment were all murdered on the Night of the Long Knives (the Strasser brothers, etc) and the actual progressive beliefs went into the same shallow graves along with them. And do not believe the Propaganda that everyone in Germany was happy under the Nazis. The Nazis might have been secretive about the Death Camps, but they were very open about the Labor Camps, and were very open about places like Dachau (where trouble makers and malcontents were sent).
