He did indeed foresee the future but for some not fully disclosed reason did not prevent Lucifer’s rebellion. He apparently gave angels free will as He has given us. Sadly many chose not to worship their Creator as in the case with many human beings down here. What we do know, however, is the story has a happy ending (see 1 Cor. 15:53-57; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 2 Peter 3:10-14; and Rev. 21:1-5). 19.
