TD Brakes We had the wheel and master cylinders resleeved and installed all new cups and washers, etc. We are now trying to bleed the brake system and appear to have pumped all the air out – no more bubbles but the pedal is spongy. However, if we leave the filler cap off the master cylinder/reservoir unit and push on the brake pedal, brake fluid squirts out of the filler hole, it doesn’t do that on my TD. We removed the master cylinder and rebuilt it again with all new parts but it still squirts brake fluid.
