The Pledge Drive is intended to simplify the fund-raising process for Oscar Mayer families. Assuming the Pledge Drive is successful, Friends of Mayer’s only additional donation-based fundraiser will be our fourth annual Wellness in Motion Walk-a-thon in the spring. A pledge drive will allow us to avoid having families sell candy, gift-wrapping, magazines, etc. This Pledge Drive is intended to fund teachers for the 2011/2012 school year. It will not eliminate other school- or classroom-sponsored fundraising, which are usually designed to meet an immediate short-term need.
