Nope. All the events in the 10K Commotion are important to how the characters relationships develop… which is important for the next part of that story after the tournament. Lots of people have written saying, “It’d be great if [Team Wang] won”, or “It would suck if [Team Psyclone] won” but those don’t matter anymore at this point.
