If Edgemont incorporates as a village will it stay a part of Greenburgh?
Yes. Were Edgemont to incorporate as a village, it would have the same legal status as the six other incorporated villages in Greenburgh, which are Ardsley, Hastings, Elmsford, Irvington, Tarrytown and Dobbs Ferry. Edgemont would be responsible for services including police, sanitation, highway, public works, parks and recreation, zoning and planning, among others.
