You have to have enough data so that you can calculate direct labor. Prepare the schedule completely, leaving a blank space for direct labor. You may have to go as far as preparing the cost of goods sold schedule which has cost of goods manufactured in it. As you complete the schedules leaving blanks where information is missing, you will be able to see how to arrive at the missing numbers.
