If course or program coordination is done by a CUPE Unit 1 or RFA member, how does it impact their existing work?
School/Departments have a number of options by which to pay their faculty members who carry out course or program coordination responsibilities. The options are as follows: • Assign as part of their normal/regular workload; • Provide with release time from their assigned workload; • Provide a stipend paid on regular pay dates for RFA members, over the period of time the work is performed. Coordination work done by RFA members for the Chang School, can be treated as above, with funds transfer from the Chang School to the faculty member’s department/school to cover the cost.
