If client has a qualifying diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and is demonstrating symptoms of adjustment disorder, can we treat symptoms of adjustment disorder with MRO services?
Only one qualifying diagnosis is needed to be potentially eligible for MRO service. An LON of 3 or higher for adults/ LON 2 or higher for youth is also required. Once a service package has been assigned, any and all issues/symptoms present may be treated with MRO services as clinically appropriate. PA may also be used if the individual is not eligible for a service package assignment but medical necessity can be demonstrated to support the use of MRO services.
