If CIC students complete their fourth year in Canada, can they remain and work in Canada?
Canadian immigration regulations stipulate that international students graduating from a Canadian post-secondary institution may seek employment in Canada and remain for a specified period of time – normally one or two years. The amount of time the graduate is permitted to continue to work in Canada (one or two years), varies from province to province. At present, most provinces allow international student graduates to remain for one year.
